I am sitting in my booth at the Columbia Arts Festival and
listening to the people going to and fro describing my artwork; words such
as intricate, cool, amazing, beautiful. Some people get a few inches from
the canvas and stare. A lady told me she was mesmerized. Questions were asked
like, “Is it batik?” Is it embroidery? How long did it take you to paint
this? And then they tell me how much they love my work. Young, old and in
between stood before my display and enjoyed a few moments of art peace.

time.
I am a graduate of Maryland Institute of Art.
My biggest fans were the children. With wide eyes, they stood
before me to tell me how impressed they were. Thank you to all who love my
